Born in Bengaluru, Pavan Bhat is a freelance film editor & film-maker, based out of Mumbai & Bengaluru, India.
His feature films as an editor include 'LAST FILM SHOW (CHHELLO SHOW)', directed by Pan Nalin (Shortlisted for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Oscars, as a co-editor), 'BHASMASUR' directed by Nishil Sheth, 'NIRMAL ANAND KI PUPPY' & 'DANNY GOES AUM' directed by Sandeep Mohan, 'PHIR SE SHAADI' (as a co-editor) directed by Imran Rasheed & as an additional editor on 'BULBUL CAN SING' directed by Rima Das. Although a computer engineer by qualification, he holds a diploma in film-making from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. In addition to editing and film-making, he has a penchant for teaching, and has served as an adjunct editing professor at Miami Ad School, Mumbai & DICE-Vancouver Film School, Mumbai.
